Polka Dot Rose Parade
Playful in name and in spirit, the Polka Dot Rose Parade shows that roses can be fun as well as romantic. The florist ties a bouquet of roses by hand, setting the rounded heads close together so they form a merry pattern. On Women's Day, 8 March, offices, schools and homes in Hungary fill with flowers, and a bunch of roses like this one is a warm greeting for a mother, a sister or a valued colleague. Anyone sending from another country should order in good time, as that week is among the busiest of the florist's year. Florists in Győr, Nyíregyháza and elsewhere deliver it by hand.
